Jaca Search and discover. Exploring the city

Escuelas Pías Jaca has been selected for the second edition of the Gloria Villalba Awards with their project Jaca Busca y Descubre (“Jaca Search and Discover”), a proposal that invites people to explore the city in a dynamic and fun way through four QR codes that give access to different interactive scavenger hunts.

The project includes four different routes. Jaca Step by Step invites participants to discover the main tourist sites by answering questions about the monuments they visit. Family Mission is designed for adults and children to enjoy together, combining culture and parks. Discover Jaca While Shopping highlights local commerce, encouraging visitors to explore traditional shops and stores that are especially attractive to young people. Finally, Pilgrims on the Move offers a scavenger hunt designed for those walking the Camino de Santiago, allowing children in particular to learn and have fun along the way.

The initiative is aimed at both local residents and visitors, with activities designed for all ages and with special attention to inclusivity, ensuring that people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can also enjoy the experience.

The brochures will be available at the tourist office, hotels, and other points of interest around the city. Through this project, the students aim to rediscover Jaca in an active way, promoting sport, knowledge of its history, and support for local businesses.
