Knowing, protecting, and transmitting the intangible cultural heritage of our region is a necessity and a commitment we have to our roots.
Young Rural Community Leaders organize and collaborate, using the Human Libraries methodology, on various activities aimed at ensuring we don’t forget our origins and can build a sustainable present and future that respects our culture and traditions through the stories and experiences of the elders in our villages.
This initiative began in 2018 with the “Lessons in Preserves” project, led by two young people from Blancas, followed by others such as “A Young Person on a Terrace” in Campo de Daroca, “Recbollar” in Villanueva del Rebollar de la Sierra, and “Radizes Collective” in Torre Los Negros.
Today, we have several well-established projects with a growing number of participants: young people, older adults, organizations, and communities.
